Let’s dive in.....

Emergency Assistance- only a tap away

  • A medical emergency might still seem far off, but you can never be too ready. With Frontpoint, you’ll benefit from:

  • 4 ways to get emergency help- Just a tap away, request help using either the Keychain Remote, mobile app, desktop login, and/or Keypad.

  • Industry-leading dispatch times because every second counts.

  • Personalized Emergency Response allows you to add medical information to your account, such as pre-existing medical conditions (such as diabetes, heart disease, movement mobility problems, etc.), and life-threatening allergies, to be shared with medical responders in the event of a medical emergency- saving precious time.

Smart features

You’ll need a smart system to keep up with you- and these features really make all the difference.

  • Let Frontpoint help you stick to routines with reminders, notifications, and activity tracking:

  • Get notified when a sensor is not opened by a specific time, like a medicine cabinet, to remind you to take action.

  • Set up Unexpected Activity Alerts to let you know when you deviate from your normal activity patterns.

  • Automatically arm your system each night:

  • A security system is best effective against intruders when it’s armed. With Frontpoint’s Smart Arming, that’s one less thing to remember.

  • Watch over another property- or even the grandkids:

  • If you have another home or property you want to watch over, you can link the systems together and toggle between them for easy viewing.

  • If your adult children have a system with cameras, they can let you view their camera feeds through your login so you can easily watch what the grandkids are up to. You'll love watching live camera footage of the playroom and talking back and forth with the grandkids to say hi.

Technical Support

If you’re not completely confident with a DIY installation or using technology in general, Frontpoint has you covered. Here’s how:

  • HelloTech, a leader in professional installation services and Frontpoint affiliate, can install the equipment for you and teach you how to use the system and Frontpoint App.

  • If you don’t regularly use your smartphone, and would rather use a desktop for account access, we offer customers login from myfrontpoint.com as well. From there, you can check system history, view cameras, and set schedules for your smart plugs. And of course, the Keypad and Keychain Remote can also be used to arm, disarm, and trigger an alarm.

  • Frontpoint systems conduct regular self-checks so if anything is not working, you’ll be notified via the mobile app, desktop, and even panel. The panel will brighten with a blue LED so you’ll easily spot a problem. There are troubleshooting steps in the app and desktop underneath the issue shown.

  • Lastly, Frontpoint has a world-class Customer Support team, available over the phone and Chat to help you through whatever issues arise.

Essential Sensors and Devices

Every Frontpoint system is customizable for your needs but starts with a Frontpoint Hub, which works as the brain of the system to which everything else connects. The Keypad is also included, allowing you to arm or disarm the system, or even alert emergency responders you need help- either medical, police, or fire.

The most popular equipment among retirees is the following:

  • Keychain Remote: As an alternative to using your smartphone around the home, you can arm and disarm your system remotely with the Keychain Remote- or even use it as a panic button to alert medical responders of an emergency. Many of our customers keep a Keychain Remote by their bed, and others bring it around with them all day in case of a medical emergency.

  • Door and Window Sensor: A Door and Window Sensor is traditionally used to track when doors or windows open and close, which can be helpful to know when people enter and exit- especially if you’re not expecting anyone. It can also be used in less conventional locations, such as doggy doors, letter boxes, and medical cabinets. With System Activity, you can check back to see the history of events for each location.

  • Motion Sensor: A standard intrusion basic to detect motion when you’re asleep or away to ensure no one is there when they shouldn’t be.

  • Wireless Light Control: The Wireless Light Control is an indoor smart plug that can control your lights. If you’ll be in Florida for a few weeks, you’ll want to keep your home safe and maintain an illusion of activity inside. Plug any lamp into the device and set up a schedule to turn the lights on/off.

  • Wireless Doorbell Camera: You can use the Wireless Doorbell Camera to see who’s at the door and talk to them from the mobile app or desktop- even if you just want to tell them you're on the way. You can also use the live view to see what’s happening while away. The Wireless Doorbell Camera is easy to install in minutes.

Frontpoint’s flexible pricing means you can pay the equipment cost monthly instead of upfront. There are also flexible contracts so you can subscribe to a month-to-month plan if you don’t want to make a long-term commitment.
