How do I make sure the Glass Break Sensor is working?

The sensor can only be tested in TEST mode, which will be entered for five minutes after both batteries are inserted. The LED will flash once per second during this time, and the sensor can be tested with a glass break simulator or other loud noise.

If an alarm is detected, the LED will flash rapidly for 2 seconds and an alarm signal will be sent to the panel. For this reason, we recommend only doing this test with the system disarmed. If the sensor does NOT trip, check the internal sensitive settings to make sure they are sufficiently high.

Please reference the image below for how to check and adjust sensitivity settings. Use a Philips screwdriver on the bottom of the sensor in order to remove the cover. The switches can be adjusted to best match the distance the sensor is from the furthest window it is protecting.:
