How Do I Delete An Automation Device From My System

To delete an automation device from your system, log into your account on the Frontpoint app then follow the instructions below based on the device you wish to delete:

Outdoor Smart Plug

  1. Tap to open the navigation menu.

  2. Tap Manage Devices.

  3. Tap to the right of your Outdoor Smart Plug and select Remove Device.

  4. Follow the instructions on screen to trigger and delete your device.

  • To trigger the Outdoor Smart Plug, make sure it is plugged in and then click the button on the top of the device.

Wireless Light Control

  1. Tap to open the navigation menu.

  2. Tap Manage Devices.

  3. Tap to the right of your Wireless Light Control and select Remove Device.

  4. Follow the instructions on screen to trigger and delete your device.

  • To trigger the Wireless Light Control, make sure it is plugged in and then click the button on the top or front of the device, depending on your model.

Smart Door Lock (Yale)

  1. Tap to open the navigation menu.

  2. Tap Manage Devices.

  3. Tap to the right of your Smart Door Lock and select Remove Device.

  4. Follow the instructions on screen to trigger and delete your device.

  • To trigger the Smart Door Lock (Yale), remove the faceplate and use a thin tool to press the pairing button (shown below) on the side of the lock until it beeps twice.

Smart Door Lock (Schlage)

  1. Tap to open the navigation menu.

  2. Tap Manage Devices.

  3. Tap to the right of your Smart Door Lock and select Remove Device.

  4. Follow the instructions on screen to trigger and delete your device.

To trigger the Smart Door Lock (Schlage), follow the steps below:
1. Press Schlage.
2. Enter the 6 digit programming code (the programming code can be found on the back of the interior section of the lock, shown in the image below).
3. Press the 0 key on the lock's keypad.
4. If successful, the check mark under the 7 key on the keypad will light up.

Smart Light Bulb

  1. Tap to open the navigation menu.

  2. Tap Manage Devices.

  3. Tap to the right of your Smart Light Bulb and select Remove Device.

  4. Follow the instructions on screen to trigger and delete your device.

  • To trigger the Smart Light Bulb, make sure it is installed in a device that has power and then turn the bulb ON. If the it is not being recognized, turn the bulb OFF then ON again.

Smart Thermostat

  1. Tap to open the navigation menu.

  2. Tap Manage Devices.

  3. Tap to the right of your Smart Thermostat and select Remove Device.

  4. Follow the instructions on screen to trigger and delete your device.

To trigger the Smart Thermostat, make sure it is powered-on and then follow the steps below:
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Network.
4. Select Remove.

Garage Door Controller

  1. Tap to open the navigation menu.

  2. Tap Manage Devices.

  3. Tap to the right of your Garage Door Controller and select Remove Device.

  4. Follow the instructions on screen to trigger and delete your device.

  • To trigger the Garage Door Controller, make sure it is powered-on and then click the button on the side of the device.
