How does the Wired Doorbell Camera record video?

The Doorbell Camera is capable of recording when either the doorbell button is pushed or when the built-in motion sensor is tripped. You can select which recordings you would like when installing the camera.

For instructions to change the recording settings after the Wired Doorbell Camera has been installed with the Frontpoint app, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your account on the Frontpoint app

  2. Tap the Doorbell Camera section on the homepage

  3. Tap on the Gear Icon in the top right

  4. Tap the name of the doorbell camera you would like to change the recording settings for

  5. Tap on the Recording Schedules section

  6. Tap on the toggle buttons to turn on or off the recording settings as desired. A green toggle indicates that the setting is turned on

  7. Tap on the Check icon at the top right to save

For instructions to change the recording settings after the Wired Doorbell Camera has been installed with MyFrontpoint.com, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your account on MyFrontpoint.com

  2. From the home page, select Video on the left-hand side

  3. Select Recording Rules in the middle of the page at the top

  4. Click on the toggle buttons to turn on or off the recording settings as desired. A blue toggle indicates that the setting is turn on

Review your stored videos by navigating to the Saved Video Clips section from the Video menu on the app or website.
