Frontpoint App Audio Troubleshooting:

  • Ensure you have the latest version of the Frontpoint app from your app store.

Check Call Volume:

  • Log into the Frontpoint app.

  • Tap "Doorbell Camera" on the home screen.

  • Tap the settings icon in the top right corner.

  • Select your Wired Doorbell Camera if you have multiple doorbell cameras on the system.

  • Adjust the "Call Volume" slider to maximum.

Verify Mobile Device Settings:

  • Ensure media volume isn't muted and is turned up.

  • Grant the Frontpoint app access to your device's microphone.

  • Disable any active Do Not Disturb settings.

  • Ensure your phone's operating system is up to date.

Test Audio Outputs:

  • Check sound from both the device's speaker and headphones.

  • Test the Wired Doorbell Camera's call volume on another device.

  • Download a recorded clip to check for audio.

MyFrontpoint.com Audio Troubleshooting:

Check Call Volume:

  • Log into MyFrontpoint.com.

  • Go to "Video" and then "Settings."

  • Select the Wired Doorbell Camera from the "Video Device" dropdown.

  • Adjust the "Call Volume" slider to maximum and click save.

  • Ensure the talk button on the doorbell call is pressed.

Additional Steps if Audio Issues Persist:

Try lowering the video quality of the Wired Doorbell Camera.

To lower the video quality follow the steps below:

Select your Wired Doorbell Camera if you have multiple doorbell cameras on the system.

Adjust the image quality to "Standard" or "Reduced" in the Image Resolution menu.

Tap the check mark in the top right corner to save the settings.

Make sure that the power requirements for the Wired Doorbell Camera are met

Power requirements:

  • AC: 16-24 VAC, 10-40VA (16VAC, 10VA recommended)

  • DC: 15-24 VDC, 6-20W

Factory reset the Wired Doorbell Camera
