Malfunction indicates that the Google Nest Thermostat™ is not communicating properly with the Frontpoint app or MyFrontpoint.com and may not respond to commands. A Nest Thermostat may malfunction due to a lack of power and/or an inconsistent Wi-Fi connection.
If the power recently went out, verify the thermostat is connected to AC power and that it has an active internet connection
If your Wi-Fi network information was recently changed, ensure the Nest thermostat's Wi-Fi settings were updated and that it has an active internet connection.
