For this type of door, you can use one sensor to protect both doors if there is not a stationary frame between the two doors. Place the transmitter on one of the doors and the magnet on the other, near the top. Make sure that that the indicator notches are aligned, the two pieces are within a thumb’s width of each other (3/4 inch apart or less), and flush on the same plane.
