How do I watch saved video recordings on the Frontpoint app?

The Frontpoint app collects all saved video clips that your cameras have captured, triggered by Video Analytics or an alarm event. Manage your saved clips by deleting or protecting them to make sure you only keep the most important clips. Watch your clips, then download and share your favorites with friends and family. 

 

Watch Saved video clips

1) Log in to your account on the Frontpoint app

2) Tap on the menu button in the top left-hand corner

3) Tap on the “Video” tab.

4) Tap “Saved” near the top of the page.

5) To watch a saved clip:

    • Tap the video window on the right side
    • The video clip will open to full screen and automatically start playing

Delete or protect saved clips

 To delete a video clip:

    • Select the checkbox on the left-hand side of the video clip (1)
    • Tap the trashcan icon at the top right (2)
    • The clip will be deleted

 To protect clips, so they are unable to be erased:

    • Select the checkbox on the left-hand side of the video clip (1)
    • Tap the lock icon at the top right (2)
    • A lock icon will appear near the name of the protected clip

Download and share saved clips.

To download a video clip:

    • Tap on a saved video clip to play the clip

    • Tap the download icon in the top right corner

To share a video clip:

    • Tap on a saved video clip to play the clip
    • Tap the share icon in the top right corner

Having trouble? 

If you cannot see "Video" as an option in the Frontpoint app's left-hand menu, please make sure you have a camera setup on your account. To learn how to order a camera for your system, click here
