What do I do if the Long Range Door and Window sensor is showing as closed on the Control Panel when it is actually open?

Follow
  • Verify that one piece of the sensor is mounted on the door (or window), and the other piece mounted on the frame
  • Both pieces must be mounted on the handle side of the door, and not the hinge
  • Ensure that when the door is opened, both pieces are separated from each other more than 3/4" 

If the sensor has been confirmed to be mounted properly and still reports open when closed, please contact Customer Support for additional troubleshooting.
