The Smart Door Lock uses 4 AA batteries that will last approximately 1 year with regular use. The lock will transition into a Low Battery status that will display on the keypad of the lock with a red LED near the bottom. The low battery status will also display on the Frontpoint App and Website.
To change the batteries, open the battery compartment by using either the Pin Tool that comes with the lock or a paper clip. Then insert it into the pin hole on the top of the interior section of the lock. Next, swap out the 4 AA batteries and close the battery compartment.
