A tamper is a physical disconnect on the inside of the sensor. This status will show whenever the casing is not closed correctly, such as when you change the batteries, but it will clear once the casing is closed. If the sensor shows tamper when the casing is closed, please contact Customer Support for further troubleshooting assistance.
