To edit exisiting 4-digit Additional User PINs and which Smart Door Locks can be locked/unlocked by this PIN from the Frontpoint app, follow the steps below:
- Log into the Frontpoint app.
- Open the navigation menu(
) in the Frontpoint app.
- Tap Users.
- Tap the three dots on the right side of the user you wish to edit the User PIN for.
- Tap Edit.
- Tap the lock icon labeled Locks.
- If desired, tap the existing Additional User PIN (access code) to change it to your desired 4-digit PIN.
- Select the lock you would like the Additional User PIN (access code) to lock/unlock.
- Tap Save in the top right corner to save the PIN.
- Allow a few minutes for the new settings to be sent to your Smart Door Lock.
To create new 4-digit Additional User PINs and select which Smart Door Locks can be locked/unlocked by this PIN from the Frontpoint app, follow the steps below:
- Log into the Frontpoint app.
- Open the navigation menu(
) in the Frontpoint app.
- Tap Users.
- Tap the "+" icon in the bottom right corner to create an Additional User PIN.
- Enter the First and Last name of the new user.
- Tap Create in the top right corner.
- Enter the desired 4-digit PIN in the box at the top or click the Generate Code button to have a random PIN created for you.
- Click on the toggle button next to the Smart Door Lock(s) that you would like the Additional User PIN (access code) to lock/unlock.
- Click Save.
- Allow a few minutes for the new settings to be sent to the Smart Door Lock.
