How do I create a rule so my lights automatically turn on or off with other system activity?

From the home screen of Myfrontpoint.com:

  • Click on Automation on the left menu.  You will be on the Rules page. 
  • Click the +Add New Rule button at the top right
  • Click on Event Triggered Rule.

Enter a name for the rule at the top then fill out the information below:

  • Under Automate My: select lights
  • Under When this event occurs: select whichever type of activity you would like to trigger the lights
  • Under Perform the actions: select whether you want the lights to turn on or off then select how long they should stay that way
  • Under Select Devices: select which lights will follow the rule
  • Under During these time frames: select when the rule will be active

Click Save when done.
