How do I update new WiFi information to my Hub?

Anytime your Wi-Fi information changes take the following steps to reconnect to your new network:

From the Frontpoint App:

  • Tap on the Menu icon in the top left of the home screen
  • Tap on the Security System section

  • Tap on the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen

  • Tap on Panel WiFi
  • Tap on Connect to a Different Network and the Hub will begin scanning for new networks

  • After the Hub scans for a new network tap on the network name and type the password into the box that appears
  • Tap on the Connect button at the top right and then allow the Hub up to 5 minutes to connect.  If the Hub successfully connects a Connected message will appear on the panel WiFi page

From the MyFrontpoint.com Website:

  • Click on the Settings option on the left menu

  • Click Panel WiFi

  • Click on Connect to a Different Network and the Hub will begin scanning for new networks
  • After the Hub scans for a new network click on the network name and type the password into the box that appears
  • Click on the Connect button at the top right and then allow the Hub up to 5 minutes to connect.  If the Hub successfully connects a Connected message will appear on the panel WiFi page
