Functionality

The Hub Keypad is a battery-operated touchpad designed to provide quick access and control to the customer. The Keypad can either be mounted on a flat surface or on the wall with adhesives or screws.

How to Open: Open the door of the panel. Pull down on the tab at the bottom of the touchpad to separate the body from the mounting plate.

Features

Stay

  • Press once to arm the system in Stay Mode. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to arm the system with no entry delay.

Away

  • Press once to arm the system in the Away Mode. Does not arm with no entry delay.

Disarm

  • Press and enter the 4 digit code to disarm the system.

Key LED Indicator

  • Illuminates different colors to show the status of the system.
  • Green - Disarmed
  • Red - Armed Away
  • Orange - Armed Stay
  • Blue - Trouble Condition

Panic Alarms

  • Fire - Press and hold both 4 and 6 down at the same time for 3 seconds to trigger.
  • Medical - Press and hold both 7 and 9 down at the same time for 3 seconds to trigger.
  • Police - Press and hold both # and * down at the same time for 3 seconds to trigger.

Notes:

  • Up to 4 Keypads can be added to the Hub
  • Electrical tape is used on the keypads to prevent them from disconnecting when opening the Keypad.
  • If there are 5 incorrect disarm attempts within 10 minutes, it will be locked for 5 minutes. When the time expires, it will emit 1 long beep.

Battery Replacement

  • Separate the mounting plate from the body of the device.
  • Replace all batteries being sure to follow the polarity instructions.
  • Avoid hitting the touchpad buttons while installing the batteries.
  • Reconnect the Mounting plate to the body of the device.
