Sensor Tamper

Tamper indicates that a physical connection is not being made inside of the piece of equipment. The name of the sensor will appear in parentheses. Usually this indicates that the case is loose and just needs to be closed more securely. Tampers will only cause trouble conditions if the system is disarmed, if the system is armed and equipment reports a tamper, it will cause the alarm to sound. If you have checked the equipment and the case is secure, we recommend contacting Customer Support to help resolve the issue.
