If a product is not on the above list, it has not been fully tested and approved by Frontpoint. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that:
- The product will work properly
- Frontpoint equipment will continue to work properly once an unsupported device is added to the ecosystem
We, therefore, discourage any third-party equipment not on this list (or sold by Frontpoint) from being added to a Frontpoint Hub, since we have seen unsupported devices create signaling issues and communication issues for your Frontpoint devices, despite giving an impression of the third-party product working properly. With life-saving equipment such as ours, we discourage you from taking these risks. If you decide to add them anyway, we ask that your first step when troubleshooting is to remove them.
